Shannon Baker is Dakelh Dené from the Stellat’en First Nation in northern British Columbia. She is an actor, TV Host, producer, writer, and content creator. She has garnered a big following on social media and uses her platform to bring awareness to social injustices and the environment.
[As an influencer] When it comes to bullying and cyberbullying, just know that’s a part of the deal, and for me I don’t get upset about some random person cyberbullying me, where it gets upsetting is when it’s your own people that’s where it’s lateral violence, and it sucks. They have a saying when you are a content creator that if you don’t have hate comments and hate groups then you haven’t made it.
